EFNB's Community Scholarship opportunity is aimed at supporting and fostering excellence within the School District of New Berlin. EFNB has a steadfast commitment to strengthening education, athletics, and extracurricular activities, guided by our mission to enhance financial support, awareness, and advocacy for the School District of New Berlin. We envision a community that not only values but actively champions public education, recognizing its profound impact in shaping the future. With this scholarship program, we aspire to empower students to pursue their academic and career aspirations, while instilling a sense of civic duty and service.
Mission: To support and strengthen excellence in education, athletics and extra-curriculars throughout the School District of New Berlin by increasing financial support, awareness and advocacy.
Vision: A Community that values and supports public education and the opportunities it creates.
The Community Scholarship Fund will award up to two $750 awards to graduating seniors from New Berlin West and/or New Berlin Eisenhower with scholarships to help with college tuition, books or educational fees associated with education beyond high school. Awards will be paid directly to the institution the student is attending in Fall/Winter 2025 upon proper submission of enrollment documentation.
Scholarships shall be awarded entirely at the discretion of the Board of Directors of the Education Foundation of New Berlin.
Applicants must be planning to enroll at an accredited two- or four-year college/university or technical/trade school.
Scholarships shall be granted based on a combination of factors demonstrated in this application.
To qualify for consideration students must:
be graduating from New Berlin West or New Berlin Eisenhower in 2025
have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (GPA serves only as an eligibility criterion -only and will not be a determining factor in the selection process.)
Participation in at least one school-sponsored extracurricular activity (sport, club, or other activity) per year for each of the four years of high school is mandatory.
must plan to pursue a degree/certificate program leading to a career in the public service or non-profit sector (e.g. teaching, law enforcement, emergency medical services, government, non-profit organizations, social work, etc.)
Applicants must submit the application materials online prior to the deadline (04/21/2025 at 11:59 PM). Applications are available through the Waukesha County Community Foundation Scholarship Portal. Students will create an account, complete an eligibility quiz and then have access to the application utilizing the instructions below.
