EFNB is bringing all four school communities together for Pins for Playgrounds, a community bowling fundraiser on Sunday, November 15, 2026 at the New Berlin Ale House.
All proceeds from the event will support the Elementary Playground Initiative and the collective effort to bring new playgrounds to our schools.

The School District of New Berlin, Education Foundation of New Berlin (EFNB), and our elementary school parent organizations are working together on an ambitious goal: replace four priority elementary playgrounds over the next several years.
By combining District investment, EFNB support, school-based fundraising and community generosity, we can accomplish more — and do it more quickly — to create updated playgrounds for today’s students and generations to come.
Several of our elementary playgrounds are decades old and approaching the end of their useful life. Replacing the four priority playgrounds is expected to require an investment of approximately $1 million.
New playgrounds will provide updated spaces for students to play, connect and grow while incorporating required levels of ADA accessibility — an important improvement over many of our existing playgrounds.
This initiative gives us an opportunity to make a significant, lasting investment in all four of our elementary school communities.
No single organization can accomplish a project of this size alone. That's why the District, EFNB and each school's parent organization have committed to working together.
School District of New Berlin
The School Board has committed at least $500,000 toward replacement of the four priority playgrounds - one per elementary school.
Education Foundation of New Berlin
EFNB has pledged $100,000 by June 2029.
Elementary Parent Organizations & Community Partners
The remaining funds needed will be raised through school-based fundraising, community events, sponsorships, and charitable gifts — with each parent organization raising funds to support its school's playground.
Together, these investments put all four schools on a path toward new playgrounds.
Throughout the campaign, EFNB, the District and school parent organizations will share updates on fundraising progress, project plans, special events and opportunities to get involved.
Replacing four playgrounds is a big goal — and one our entire community can help make possible.
Whether you donate, attend an event, volunteer, sponsor a project or help spread the word, every contribution moves us closer to creating playgrounds that will serve New Berlin students for years to come.
